Darkit lay on the ground, openly sobbing. Why had they seperated him from his siblings? He just didn't understand...

A beautiful white she-cat padded out of the apprenitces den, head and tail high. Her white pelt, slpocked wiht silver (Or silver sploched with white...?) shimmered in the sunlight, with bright blue eyes alight. She spotted Darkkit, and the look onn her pretty face changed to wonder, mixed with worry. Bounding over to him, she asked, "Whats wrong, Darkkit?"

Darkkit sighed, "I knew Hazelkit was my sibling, so why am I seperated from her?" His tear stained fur was cool and moist, and his heart thumped slowly in a dark sorrow.

SnowStorm padded out of the warriors den. He had heard DarkPaw and had known about the seperation, but walked over to the apprentice any ways. " young Darkpaw, you are destined for greatness, with or without your siblings."

Darkpaw stared up at Snowstorm. Then all of the sudden, his face began to feel like it was wet. His lungs filled with water, and couldn't breathe. Come to the moonpool at moonhigh... said a voice. Darkpaw thought he cackling in the distance...

"Sometimes things happen, and theres nothing you can do to stop it." The silver and white apprentice licked Darkpaw's cheek. "If you live in the past, you will never be able to change what happens now." She lay her tail over his shoulders, and smiled at him, blue eyes soft with simpathy.

Snowpaw smiled, knowing he understood. She turned, mouth open, about to ask if she could come. He She turned and rised an eyebrow at Snowstorm, and shrugged. If he had to go somewhere at this time of day, let him do so. She padded slowly back to her den, pausing half way to strech and yawn. Soon, her tail tip dissappered into the apprentice's den.
